Joven is based in New York City for newsPros and works with the firm's clients in the NY/NJ/PA region. He is a seasoned public relations professional with 12 years of experience planning, developing and executing comprehensive communications plans with a particular focus on the legal and professional services industries.
Prior to joining newsPros, Joven held a senior position with a leading public relations agency offering a full range of public relations and communications counsel for large and mid-sized global law firms. He managed a team of PR professionals that worked in partnership with law firm management positioning them as thought leaders across various industry sectors including healthcare, financial services, labor and employment, intellectual property, life sciences, energy and advertising, marketing and media, among others. Joven was also previously a public relations associate at Dechert LLP, an 800+ attorney global law firm, where he managed public relations and communications on behalf of the firm's core practice areas.
Joven has extensive experience in all facets of media relations and has a proven track record of securing high-level, strategic media placements with influential national business, legal and trade media. In addition to his work in the legal and professional services industries, Joven has also designed and implemented PR and media relations plans for a wide range of financial services institutions, investment banks, insurance providers, technology firms, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, venture capital firms and energy providers.
