Jaime Baum has been a member of the newsPRos team since 2008. She supports a number of newsPRos clients including an AmLaw 100 law firm, a national jury consulting firm, a civil rights litigation firm, and an international nonprofit.
Earlier in her career, Jaime was Marketing Manager at Heartland Alliance in Chicago, a nonprofit providing the homeless and disenfranchised with access to jobs, homes and educational assistance. Prior to that, she held supervisory positions at several leading Chicago public relations firms.
In addition, she managed her own PR consulting business, working with PR agencies, smaller business enterprises and nonprofit organizations.
Jaime is a veteran media trainer and served as a business and feature reporter for the Sun Times News Group's Pioneer Press. She has initiated and implemented corporate, financial and media relations programs for Fortune 500 companies including drafting press releases, annual reports, material design coordination, speech writing, article placement, analyst outreach programs and special event coordination.
Jaime is a graduate of Indiana University, with a B.A. in journalism and history. She resides in the Chicago area and travels regularly to Washington, DC, and New York City.
