Mary Pattara is based in Chicago and supports a number of newsPRos clients and projects.
Prior to joining newsPRos, Mary worked at PR agencies in Chicago supporting clients in the franchise and financial services industries. A talented writer, she excels in clearly enunciating clients’ key messages, media outreach, and creating strategic communication plans that resonate with consumer and business-facing audiences. Mary engages with traditional media to place stories or sources and with emerging media to exponentially enhance messaging across platforms reaching clients’ key audiences.
Mary volunteers as a mentor for underserved public school students through iMentor, a non-profit created to give every student a champion and preparation for post-secondary education. She earned a B.S. in Communication with specializations in Organizational Communication and Public Relations from the University of Evansville.
